2010 Girls Youth Clinic

Cost 80.00
This will be a day long 8hr clinic for girls youth players from grades 5th through 8th
Graduated Wolfpack and current Wolfpack team members will run stations through the day.
Lunch will be catered by Subway and we will have bottled water for everyone throughout the day.
The clinic will feature 5 total breaks, 4 for water approximately 10 minutes long, and one 30 minute break for lunch.
Clinic will start at 8:30am and end at 4:30pm
Fundamentals used for ground balls, passing, catching and shooting will be addressed and taught to new lacrosse players as well as kids who have played for any length of time
New training techniques designed to help with stick skills and overall play of the game will be used.
Format:
8:30am Meet the Wolfpack players, hand out colored piney's
8:50am Split up into new student athletes and those with a year or more experience
9am Experienced players will be split up into teams and will scrimmage for 20 minutes
9am New student athletes will work with a college graduate for introduction to catching and throwing for the same 20 minutes.
9:20am First water break
9:30am Stations - Each station will last 45 minutes
Stations will include - Passing and catching, shooting, cradling, ground balls, the draw, defensive play, and dodges. Players will go to the stations based upon their positions, not all players will go to the Draw Control station. Those interested in trying are more than welcome
The day will finish with a an hour dedicated to scrimmaging. If we have enough kids teams will be 7v7 and evenly matched.
Goaltenders are more than welcome to sign up. There will be a few goalies present and the Wolfpack head coach has been coaching goaltenders for over 16 years.
